About us

The Onsen Town Togura-Kamiyamda Website and Walking Map / Restaurant Guide are brought to you by the Kara-Koro Civic Organization. Kara-Koro is made up of the various groups representing the Togura-Kamiyamada Onsen area. The name “kara-koro” means the sound that wooden geta sandals make, with the intention of attracting visitors to explore our town, hopefully while wearing geta and the yukata robes provided by the area ryokans (inns).
